Geographical location 

Luckysummer is an estate located in Ruaraka Sub County within Nairobi County, Kenya. The estate covers an area landmass of 1.95km² and boasts of a population of around 40000 people.

Luckysummer borders Dandora Phase IV, Ngomongo village, Gathecha village and social service staff estate. A good view of the estate is seen from Kasarani Stadium opposite Ngomongo Police Station.The estate enjoys close proximity to the Thika Road Mall (TRM) and Safari Park Hotel, giving the residents ease of access to a high profile shopping centre and classic hangout spots. The estate has been designed to accommodate as many residents as possible while avoiding congestion, with most investors opting to set up to six-floored rental houses and apartment blocks.

Lucky Summer is located close to the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani and schools such as Landmark Primary, St Lavida High School and United States International University (USIU) – Africa. The estate has recently embarked on tarmacking of roads in the area to ease transport. Public transport includes motorcyclists, taxi and matatus.

Luckysummer estate consists of youths between 18-35 years and it experiences has a high population growth rate. The female gender is high here compared to their male counterparts. Currently, the Population size ranges from 35000 to 40000

Lifestyle in Luckysummer is a bit expensive. It is an upgraded slum thus the life is booming hard. The residents in lucky summer are majorly middle-class people.  
Lucky summer estate is considered to have a middle standard of living according to prices of commodities, transportation and rental rates.   Although it’s slightly hiped. “pesa otas” here.

Luckysummer estate boasts of beautiful flats and apartments with varying designs and architecture.  
The rental rates vary from singles, bed-sitters, 1&2bedrooms. Also, you cannot meet 3 or 4 bedroom houses all these vary from someone’s interest and pocket.

Transport
The accessibility of Luckysummer estate is not limited to one direction. One can approach from four angles that are: from Embakasi via Outering Road, Ruiru-Ruai Bypass, from CBD via Thika Super Hiway.
From town take the bus from Tom Mboya Streets opposite Imenti House at Odeon Cinema Route 25 and only takes you approximately 25mins.
Although bus charges vary depending on different peaks, on and off peaks consecutively. Bus fare to lucky summer from CBD varies between 50-100 bob due to different times of take-off.

Begin with Neema Livestock and Slaughtering Investment Company (NLSIC) the biggest in East Africa, Lucky Summer PlayGround the famous GRAO, Luckysummer Quarry which is known by locals as KWARE, Mwalimu Plaza, and the first-ever flat to be built in the entire estate and Ebeneza Bakery, famously known as the BAKERY.  


Other areas to mention in Luckysummer includes the Hardcore Fitness Club, Happy View Supermarket, Sie Henry Pub, Don George Pub, the Hotspot Building, and Bakhita Catholic Church of cos the residents are believers.

Luckysummer estate is a cool place. It is an upgraded slum with modern building structures. It is good for low to middle-income earners. The living standard is superb since the residents are united.

What you need to know!!
With all the goods, comes a security risk with it. The rate of crime is high in lucky summer as it is located in between the slums Of Dandora and Gomongo areas. One should bear that in mind before moving in.

The Famous Eastleigh (Isilii)

  Eastleigh  is a neighbourhood in  Nairobi ,  Kenya ’s capital . It is located east of the  central business district . For some, the spelling of the name is Isilii, an alteration sourced from the local pronunciation of the word. At the mention of the word Eastleigh, many are reminded of the businesses that are run in this neighbourhood. It is known for its business prowess, as well as "its poor infrastructure. Eastleigh, formally called Nairobi East Township was founded in 1921 and was mostly populated by Somalis who had moved from the Ngara Plains. While the colonial government originally tried to segregate citizens by race and ethnicity, Eastleigh was pointed to Asians and elite Africans who worked as clerks, builders or shoemakers. Eastleigh was originally a large  Kenyan Asian  enclave until independence in 1963. In recent years, the suburb has been dominated and almost exclusively inhabited by  Somali immigrants . To date, Eastleigh is almost entirely inhabited b
